Massage Therapy

What makes my massage different?

  • Experience – I have over 15 years of experience as a Massage Therapist and have studied Deep Tissue, Swedish, Sports, Structural Integration (Rolfing), and Prenatal and Postpartum Massage.
  • Skills- I offer Deep Tissue, Sports and Swedish Massage and draw on skills from my training in Biodynamic Cranial Sacral Therapy, Feldenkrais Movement Repatterning and Body Mind Centering.
  • Holistic approach- A Somatics approach to bodywork aims to treat not only the symptoms of unrest but to engage the whole person and the patterns that underlie our functioning.
  • Education- Each session includes the option to receive Somatic based exercises to take home and practice as a way to continue to develop greater awareness of patterns that create discomfort and to help learn new ways of moving that foster a sense of ease and grace.

  • Cranial Sacral Therapy- All massage therapy sessions culminate in a brief Cranial Sacral Session to help restore the nervous system and bring a state of deep relaxation.

  • A path- The result is a holistic massage experience that brings a decrease in pain, a greater sense of alignment, and fundamental shift in our organization and  pathway to a greater sense of embodiment and presence.
  • Special Skills for Mom’s and Babies-  A personal understanding of the demands of prenatal life on both mothers and babies and a passion to help support moms and foster greater resonance and connection through this precious and sometimes challenging transition.
