Through dynamic movement sequences and facilitated touch Feldenkrais teaches new ways of moving to relieve pain, regulate the nervous system, cultivate a sense of ease and kinesthetic enjoyment.

The Feldenkrais method puts to use the learning mechanism behind our unique human intelligence and limitless capacity to learn. It is a very gentle but highly effective form of Somatic Movement Education that uses teaches how to organize yourself with more ease and power. Watch a baby moving and over time –   you will witness the evolution of  a rolly polly newborn that can not hold their head up to a crawling, walking, talking, jumping, skipping, climbing, intelligent and able being. How is this possible? Certainly the approach that many of us take of, “no pain no gain”- is not the answer. An answer that might come as close as any, is the Feldenkrais Method.

There are two main forms to the Feldenkrais® Method: Awareness Through Movement® Classes and private Functional Integration® sessions.
